About Us
Quality & Safety
A quality plan following ISO 9001 guidelines, the submittals that support it, and the induction and site training programmes behind safe execution.
Quality management
Our quality plan follows ISO 9001 guidelines.
VLS adopts the procedures, inspection and test plans and formats of the Quality Assurance Plan submitted to the client. The system is built around four areas: the project quality management system, product realisation, measurement and analysis, and management reviews and evaluations.
A quality system is only as good as the documents that reach site. The submittals listed below are issued against the contract programme so that inspection regimes are in place before the work they govern begins.
The system
Quality management system
Project quality management system
The framework governing how quality is planned, assured and recorded on the project, aligned to ISO 9001 guidelines.
Product realisation
Control of the processes that turn design into built work, including inspection and test plans and method statements.
Measurement, analysis and review
Audit schedules, non-conformance tracking, and management reviews and evaluations that close the loop.

- Bi-monthly safety training at all project sites by field experts
- Safety personnel encouraged to keep their training updated
- Induction for all new labourers on safe working practices
- Kick-off meeting at every new project site
- Project-specific safety work plan, prepared with the client and consultant and detailed further before any new activity
